Book Review: Something From Tiffany's by Melissa Hill

So i'm going to do a different kind of post I love my books so I've decided to review one attempt to anyways!  I have read a few of Melissa Hill books before and I love them everytime you think you know how it gonna end and she always does a complete unexpected twist and she is well known for this.  She is an Irish author she has wrote 10 books in the last 9 years and she has another book due out this summer.  I bought 'Something From Tiffany's' just before Christmas in Tesco for €5.95 Tesco are great for books!  I loved this book it starts based at Christmas time over In New York at the start of this book Ethan is the main character in this book he buys an engagement ring for his girlfriend in Tiffany's but this goes missing in an accident and he ends up with a charm bracelet instead of the really expensive ring he bought!  Gary is the man who bought the charm bracelet for his girlfriend but she ends up with the ring, he never had any intention of proposing to her in the first place but goes along with it bad man!  Gary lives in Ireland and Ethan lives in UK so it's going to be a bit of a challenge to get his ring back.  They had both been in New York for Christmas but their bags somehow get mixed up.  This book ends totally not how you think it does as your reading it you think you know what might happen but its such a twist! I'm not going to give away anymore I hate reading reviews that contain pretty much everything that happens so I am going to keep it short and sweet. :)  This was a great book I love love love Melissa Hill's books and I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of them! I really recommend this book great read!!

Doesn't every girl dream of getting... something from Tiffany's?

On 5th Avenue in New York City, two very different men are shopping for gifts for the women they love.

Gary is buying his girlfriend Rachel a charm bracelet. Partly to thank her for paying for their holiday-of-a-lifetime to New York. But mainly because he's left his shopping far too late.

Whereas Ethan's looking for something a little more special - an engagement ring for the first woman to have made him happy since he lost the love of his life.

But when the two men's shopping bags get confused, and Rachel somehow ends up with Ethan's ring, the couples' lives become intertwined.

As Ethan tries to reunite the ring with the woman it was actually intended for, he discovers this isn't that easy. Does fate have other ideas for the couples? Or is there simply a bit of Tiffany's magic in the air...

REVIEW: LUSH Big Hair Shampoo

So I had been hearing so much great things about this shampoo so when I was up in Dublin before Christmas I finally got to go into Lush for the very first time I went to the Henry Street Store.  I wanted to buy this but I thought it was expensive costing €14.95 I think it was around that anyways but i said sure I'll buy it anyways.  Now I realise that it is not that expensive as you do not need to use as much as any other shampoo you only need a very small amount first shampoo won't lather up as well however I have this problem with every shampoo but the second shampoo is suds galore!! At first it feels like you are putting a facial scrub in your hair cos their is seas salt in it and it kinda has a scrub like texture, it smells really nice and fresh.  You definitely do get a bit of oomph from this shampoo I will definitely re purchase this.  Also if you have 5 empty containers of any Lush product in the black packing like the big shampoo and you clean them and return them they will give you a free fresh face mask!  I also found this shampoo did not make my hair greasy I often get an extra day out of my hair with this I would normally wash my hair every second day so this really does clean your hair really well as in squeaky clean no joke their is a squeak off my hair after washing it!

9/10  only deducting it a point because of the price

The ingredients in this are as follows:
Coarse Sea Salt, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Fresh Organic Lemon Infusion,Fresh Sea Water, Toothed Wrack Seaweed Infusion,Cocamide DEA, Lauryl Betaine, Fresh Organic Lime Juice, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Neroli Oil,Mandarin Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute, *Limonene,Methyl Ionone, Perfume
*occurs naturally in essential oils

The ingredients listed in Green are Natural and the black are Synthetic.

What Lush Say
We love salt on the hair because it’s great for giving volume. We experimented with it for a very long time before coming up with this, our ultimate salt shampoo.
We’ve created a rich shampoo base, then crammed in as much sea salt as we could. But we have carefully partnered it with seaweed and coconut to give softness to the hair and fresh lemons and limes to give shine.  We then added a lovely bright and uplifting fragrance of neroli, mandarin, orange flower absolute and vanilla.
So what you get is hair that has lift and volume, but is still easy to get a comb through and smells great for hours.  A big achievement, we felt.
Salt has a second bonus;  because it is a natural preservative, this shampoo requires no added synthetic preservatives.

You can buy this in Lush stores or at
330G £10.95/€14.95 I think if anyone knows the euro price please let me know I think that is it though

Anyone used this product before or any other Lush Shampoos?

FOTD: 7 Day Trial of the new Lancome Teint Idole Foundation

Hello! Lancome are giving a free 7-day trial of their new foundation Teint Idole 24hour I have never used Lancome foundation before so I'm not really familiar with it the girl on the counter said it come in 14hour but the new one 24 hour.  I spotted this on their Facebook site Lancome Facebook as far as I know its just in Ireland and the UK however I could be wrong!  So I went into Boots yesterday and they had signs up about it so I asked but the girl there said the ancome lady wasn't working and she wasn't too sure about this offer so I headed in to Brown Thomas and I was able to get the sample the girl simply just asked me what type of coverage I like, what kind of skin I have and whether I like my foundation dark if I wear tan which I do always wear tan so she gave me No 03 in the Teint Idole Foundation in a little container and explained to me about the foundation it is not out yet it should be out in Feb, she wasn't sure on the price but the other one is €40.50 so it could be around that price but she said the bottle should last up to 10 months.  So I tried out this foundation today I'm gonna use it for the week see how I get on.  It smells beautiful nicest smelling foundation ever smells like their hydra zen moisturiser really nice.  Its so soft and easy to work with it just glides on.  So far day 1 with this foundation I do love it. :)

REVIEW: Some e.l.f products

So i'm sure alot of you know about e.l.f cosmetics i only discovered them a few months back but I love them!  Majority of e.l.f stuff i have is great however i have been dissapointed with a few things so I have 2 good for you and 2 bad, lets start with the good!

e.l.f Mineral Infused Face Primer €6.80 however I got this during a 50% promo offer so it was only €3.40!

I love love love this stuff this is the best primer I have ever use lovely base for foundation its slightly oily same texture as the Gosh Primer.  Packaging makes it look more expensive than what it is, however I have one problem I dunno if its the bottle I got or if it always happens the pump stopped working i dunno if this is because it is too short to reach the bottom or not but this happened me a couple of months ago and there is still loads left. I just have to scrape it out everytime anyone else had this problem?  Well its not gonna stop me using it even if it does happen again cos I love it so much!

8/10 it would be 10 only for the flaw with the pump

e.l.f Kabuki Face Brush €4.00 but I also got this for 50% off so it was only €2.00

Not a great pic sorry.  Love this brush I prefer the Kabuki brush to the powder brushs with a long handle I just find you have more control.  Great Little brush lovely and soft on your face have this a good few months now and its still perfect!

Now onto the not so great products

e.l.f Liquid Eyeliner €1.70 yes also 50% off  so 85c

I really did not like this I prefer the brush type but this is a hard kinda brush dunno what you would call it I found it very hard to apply and you couldn't go back over it seem to take off what you just put on I just couldn't get a nice line with it now I will attempt this again in the future maybe with a different eyeliner brush but no I won't be buying this again.

2/10 only giving it 2 for the price

e.l.f Studio High Definition Powder €6.80 got it 50% off so €3.40

I've seen quite a few good reviews on this so maybe its just me i'm very picky when it comes to powder and I only use Loose Powder.  I did not like this because I found it took off my make up making it look patchy and made me look pale.  Just not for me.  Again I will try this again someday.  I will say one good thing about this is that I love the packaging this also feels and looks quite expensive when really its not.

3/10 cos I do like the packaging

So has anyone used any of these? Anyone like what I don't like or hate what I like?  I'll have more e.l.f reviews in the near future.  :)

FOTD: New make up

Hello this is my first FOTD and i'm still not feeling better yet its taking its time, so basically im as pale been in no humour for putting on tan and my make up i normally use is darker than what i am so doesn't look right when I have no tan so I decided to try out my Benefit Some Kinda Gorgeous Foundation and Hoola Bronzer.  I have never been able to use bronzer properly so I never use it but tried it out today and it didnt turn out too bad.  Excuse the bags under the eyes its from my flu sleeping pattern all over the place!

First order from Feel Unique

I'm sure most of you have hear about Feel Unique from their beauty boxes i cannot subscribe to these as they do not send them to Ireland yet, however you can order stuff from their site so I placed my first order with them just after christmas and it came today. :) Also standard delivery is free! I bought Schwarzkopf Professional Essensity Volume Shampoo I can't wait to try this out.  Essensity is an organic brand from Schwarzkopf they have a whole range of Colours, Bleach, Shampoos, Conditioners, Treatments etc.. This will be my first time using one of their products.  Anyone ever used anything from the brand before?

I also bought Australian Body Care Spot Stick I used to suffer terrible from spots but I was able to solve this, however I do get a nasty one every now and again and  its usually a nice big one in an awkward place at the moment i have one between my eyebrow and my nose so I am using this now hopefully it will take it away for me I have never used this before until today I think I may have already seen an improvement once I have got a chance to  use these products enough I shall review them.
